Foozhan AtaiefardI am a senior ML researcher focused on multimodal generative AI and foundation models, including VLMs and LLMs. I currently work at NVIDIA, where I focus on VLM/CV models, generative AI, and model optimization as part of the GeForce team. I recently contributed to the research behind NVIDIA DLSS 5 and RTX Neural Face Rendering. I have also worked on the TensorRT-LLM KV-cache manager and inZOI's Smart Zoi. Prior to joining NVIDIA, I was a Senior AI Researcher at Ascend AI Research, where I worked on LLM, VLM, and CV foundation-model training/inference optimization, as well as long-context text generation. Before that, I was a Student Researcher at Oracle Labs, where I worked on LLM post-training, alignment, and reinforcement learning for SQL code generation.
In my free time, I enjoy holding angles in Rainbow Six Siege and throwing alley-oops in NBA 2K or on the basketball court.
